Boulder Viola Lessons

Viola lessons at The Lesson Studio are available for students of all ages. We welcome those of all ability levels, beginner through advanced. Our viola staff all have degrees in music from accredited universities. They have years of professional experience in performing as well as teaching. When our viola teachers create their lesson plans, they always consider your individual goals and music style preferences. You can learn to play viola in virtually any style at The Lesson Studio, including classical, jazz, contemporary, bluegrass, or whatever suits you best.

Our online learning platform has many cool features, including file-sharing with your teacher, one-click lesson cancelling, and weekly lesson notes. The online platform is also where those who opt for online learning can click to begin their virtual lesson. Online lessons are a great option for students who wish to learn to play viola from home. We also offer in-person lessons for those who prefer face-to-face learning. The Lesson Studio is following several safety procedures for students and teachers performing in-person lessons.

At the end of the season, those registered for viola lessons will be allowed to participate in our recitals. Choose a solo viola piece or a piece you can play with your instructor to showcase all the progress you’ve made over the semester.

If your school-age child is playing viola in their school orchestra, viola lessons from The Lesson Studio will supplement their curricular learning. Students will be able to work on the pieces for orchestra in their private lessons. Our viola teachers will gladly offer pointers and help with any music for BVSD orchestras.
