Dylan Ewing
“If you feel like tapping your feet, tap your feet.”
About Dylan
I have been playing the drums ever since I was big enough to reach the pedals. Throughout my middle and high school years, I played in jazz, concert, and marching bands. I pursued my higher music education at Colorado State University, where I played in the top jazz big band and performed with the percussion ensemble at PASIC in 2019.

Dylan’s Instructional Approach
I believe in building a strong foundation in rhythm and technique while also encouraging creativity and self-expression. My goal is to help students find their unique voice through drumming and to foster a lifelong love of music.
Practice Tips
One effective practice technique I use is the “slow-fast-slow” method. Begin by playing a passage slowly to ensure accuracy and proper technique, gradually increase the tempo to performance speed, and then slow down again to reinforce muscle memory and precision.
