Early Age Drums

Ages 5 to 7 • Any Skill Level

Young musicians will have the opportunity to enhance their skills and explore their preferred instruments. Throughout each session, they will learn essential building blocks of rock and pop music and, learn to play simplified renditions of popular rock songs with other young musicians.

We teach kids to speak the language of music, play what they love, and build confidence. They can show off at our shows and join the Rock and Pop Music Academy.

Our lower elem age daughter started here in August and loves the program! The staff are fun and have been able to successfully teach her how to play the drums with no previous experience. We are not a musically inclined family, so I’m in awe of how quickly they were able to teach her to play the drums. We also love the option to form a rock band with other students. The price is really reasonable too!

Our two boys have been taking drum and guitar lessons from The Lesson Studio for 3+ years and we couldn't be more appreciative of the quality lessons and experiences available to them. The excellent instruction, recital locations and performance opportunities combine to support and grow musicians of all ages and skill levels. I highly recommend the Lesson Studio for any age at any skill level. I've been playing in bands on and off for 35 years and decided I was ready to take my singing to the next level. I took voice lessons during the summer semester and loved it enough to continue through the fall semester. I was pleasantly surprised with the results I got. I honestly didn't expect to get unsolicited compliments. The instructors are encouraging, fun, and provide wonderful guidance. I worked with two coaches - and an occasional substitute - and each brought a unique perspective that I loved. The studio is very well run and there's a palpable enthusiasm about what they do.

My daughter loves The Lesson Studio! She is 11 and has been going there for the past 3 years. She really enjoys being part of a kid band and is learning how to sing, play the guitar and keyboard. Her skills as a vocalist has improved so much and all the instructors are engaging and have kept her interested in learning. They give feedback and skills to work on, and there are so many opportunities to perform in front of an audience.

We love the Lesson Studio. Our daughter has an excellent voice coach that our daughter adores, and later joined their rock band program. The coaching and opportunities they provided took her to the next level . We can't believe we get to watch our girl rock out on stages all over Boulder. Definitely recommend!

We had been looking for a venue for our 13 year old son to play in a rock band with adult supervision, and have been so blessed to find The Lesson Studio. The instructors are SO supportive, talented and professional. We can not imagine a warmer setting or better instruction. We highly recommend The Lesson Studio!
