Madison’s Instructional Approach
Practice Tips
- Developing a routine is the key to success. Set aside time each day, even if it’s only 10 minutes to start, and you’ll find yourself making lots of progress!
- Stay hydrated!
- Always be sure to warm up before practicing. It can be tempting to jump right into singing your music, but warming up will give you the tools for longevity throughout your practice.
- If you feel your practice is becoming mundane, take a break and sing something just for fun! I personally like to practice the music I’ve been assigned for 20 minutes, and take a 5-minute break to sing something just for fun!
- Don’t be afraid to take risks and try new things!
